If you suspect you or a family member may have been exposed to COVID-19, we ask that you call the Illinois Department of Health on their COVID Hotline at 1-800-889-3931. You may also send an email to dph.sick@illinois.gov with questions about testing.

For some people COVID-19 is a mild illness, for others severe.

Older adults 60 years and older, and people with asthma, lung disease, heart conditions, hypertension, diabetes are at higher risk for serious complications and hospitalizations.

WHERE DO I GO IF I THINK I HAVE CORONAVIRUS?
First, don’t panic. Your symptoms could be allergies, common cold, or flu, we are still in flu season. You have a few different options for receiving care. If you’re showing symptoms, such as fever and cough, the safest place for you and everyone else is in your home.
Call your healthcare provider for further care and instruction. You can also contact one of the following sources with questions:

COVID Hotline at 1-800-889-3931
In case of medical emergency, call 911. That means difficulty breathing or another emergency medical condition. At the time of your call please let them know if you have been exposed to CoVID-19. Call the ER so they can prepare for your arrival and limit your exposure to others.
HOW WILL FAMILY HEALTHCARE CENTER OFFICE HOURS AND PATIENT VISITS BE AFFECTED?
Family Healthcare Center will remain open with adjusted hours of service. To ensure the safety of our patients we will advise patients to use the services offered below for a temporary period of time to help reduce exposure and unnecessary risk to CoVID-19.
These are the options for service at Family Healthcare Center:
TELEMEDICINE
If it is an emergency we ask you call 911 or be seen in the nearest emergency room. This is a great way to be in touch with your provider without leaving your home for non-emergent consultation.
